Our Whole Wheat Berries are produced from Coronado hard red winter wheat using traditional, low-impact farming methods and without chemical inputs for more than 35 years. The grain is cultivated with horse-drawn equipment, harvested by hand with a horse-drawn binder, and threshed using a restored 1930s-era threshing machine.
These intact, whole kernels are rich in natural nutrients and flavor, making them ideal for home milling, sprouting, cooking, and long-term storage. When freshly ground, they produce excellent whole wheat flour. When cooked whole, they add hearty texture to soups, salads, and grain bowls.
Because they are carefully grown and minimally processed, these wheat berries deliver exceptional quality and versatility. Whether you’re baking, sprouting, or building a resilient pantry, they offer a dependable, traditional grain you can trust.
