How are your animals raised?

We raise our animals using pasture-based, regenerative methods that prioritize animal welfare, healthy soils, and high-quality food. Each species is managed according to its natural needs and behaviors.

Pasture Raised Broilers

After spending the first 3 weeks in our protective chick brooders, our broiler chickens are taken out to fresh pasture where they live in mobile shelters and are moved daily. This gives them constant access to grass, insects, sunlight, and fresh air while continuing to protect them from predators and harsh weather. They are fed a high-quality, non-GMO grain ration to support healthy growth and strong immune systems. This method allows chickens to live naturally while producing clean, flavorful meat.

Pasture Raised Laying Hens

Our laying hens live on pasture and are rotated to fresh ground 2–3 times per week. They have access to grass, seeds, insects, and sunshine, along with a balanced non-GMO feed. The hens are housed in mobile or well-ventilated shelters for safety at night. This pasture-based system promotes rich yolks and healthy, active birds.

Local Beef (Raised on Pasture, Finished with Grain)

Our beef cattle are raised by a neighbor on open pasture where they graze on diverse grasses and forage throughout most of their lives. During the finishing phase, cattle are supplemented with carefully selected grain to develop marbling and tenderness while maintaining animal health and welfare. This results in flavorful, well-balanced beef.

Do you use antibiotics on your chickens?

No, we never use antibiotics for any of our chickens.

Are your products organic?

While we are not certified organic, we use chemical-free and regenerative practices focused on soil health, animal welfare, and natural growing methods.
